Volunteer!

Our volunteer program offers students, teachers and qualified individuals as well as the average person the opportunity to help educate the underprivileged of the D.R. Those who volunteer reflect the rich diversity of our global community in race, religion, age and ethnic background. Our volunteers come from all walks of life with one common goal, to help other's through education. Our volunteers are given a variety of assignments based on their knowledge and or experience.

We welcome all those who contribute to this mission to come and see how your contributions are changing the lives of the Dominican people. We host at least 2 mini tours each year for those with a heart for mission work. For more travel information, contact our office. We would be happy to customize a trip to meet the needs of your group, depending on the goals, skills and desired expierence.

Our program for volunteers offers a wide range of experiences from unique friendships to life enrichment as well as cross cultured experiences rarely found in their homeland.

Why Volunteer?

Print out and complete the online application, mail it along with the application fee and your recommendations to our office.REQUIREMENTSYou must be 18 years of age with a valide US passportVolunteers must be committed to the full academic year or the entire summer session(Summer Camp - Late June - July)(Academic School Year - Mid August to Late June)Language - Spanish proficancy is recommendedVolunteers are encouraged to fundraise to help pay for their stay.Must be able to be self sustaining, purchase a round trip ticket and work at least 40 hours per week
