Our History

Rev Angel and Sis. Elsie DeJesus have a great love for God and His people through out the world. They are the founders of the Open Door Mission in East Petersburg, PA and from there they have touched the world both locally and internationally. They have together touched countless lives through the mission and their personal sacrifices. Feeding the hungry, praying for the sick, clothing the naked and helping the poor. In 2009, they celebrated 40 years of ministry and marriage. Both in their 80's, they are more determined than ever to see great things done for God! In September 2003, they took another personal step of faith and purchased a 98 acre farm in a place called *Projecto Areas Nationalist* in the Dominican Republic. Pastor and Sis. DeJesus have been grateful to the many who have given their help to this labor of love.
